“ | "And Gwen, I hear you finally completed your second doctorate." "I know. I know. Seriously, I would have finished a year ago if I hadn't been named High Magus." |

Dr.[6][5] Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson is the High Magus and Ben's paternal cousin.
Appearance[]
In Ben 10,000, Gwendolyn had short red hair that had bangs in the front. She wore a blue and black spandex suit with black combat boots and the Charms of Bezel on her right arm. She had a hood and only sometimes wore it. She had a belt with a cat on it, similar to the cat Gwen wore on her shirt when she was ten. She also wore blue earrings.
In Ken 10, Gwendolyn had much longer hair, tied back in a ponytail and her black combat boots are now high heels.
In The End of an Era, Gwendolyn again has short red hair with bangs. The Charms of Bezel have pink-colored energy. The cat on her belt now has pointier ears and pink eyes. Her shoes have silver toes and outsoles. She also has freckles and her earrings are smaller.
Occasional Appearances[]
In Ben 10,000, Gwendolyn briefly wore a blue mask.
Personality[]
Gwendolyn keeps most of her younger self's personality traits such as her intelligence, maturity, and rationality. She is still very caring towards her loved ones, as she brought her and Ben's younger selves to the future to talk to him, believing he needed an attitude adjustment in time for Max's 80th birthday.[1]
Gwendolyn is cunning and quick-thinking, growing to be an adept and master magician.
History[]
Background[]
Gwendolyn journeyed at some point to the dimension of Bezel, where she had new charms made for her.[pop-up 3][1]
Ben 10[]
In Ben 10,000, Gwendolyn came through a portal to the Prime Timeline and grabbed Gwen to lead Ben (as XLR8) into her timeline. Though the younger Tennysons believed the "crisis" Gwendolyn was talking about was Vilgax and Dr. Animo, Gwen Prime eventually realized that Ben 10,000 just needed a major attitude adjustment.
During Ken 10, Gwendolyn was on a mission in Zoraster of the Legerdomain,[DM 2] and because of this she was unable to attend Ken's birthday party. But she appeared as a hologram and gave Ken a Rock Monster pet as a present. Later in the episode, she and Ben 10,000 discussed whether or not Ben 10,000 should let Ken fight.
Omniverse[]
Gwendolyn first reappeared in The End of an Era, where she attended Max's retirement party alongside Kevin. When the power went out, she helped the other guests evacuate. She helped Ben and Kai battle Maltruant but was temporarily frozen in time.
Powers and Abilities[]

Gwendolyn can project manna from her hands, such as in the form of beams.[5]
Gwendolyn can use magic by casting spells to achieve a specific result. Though she often has to recite the incantation in order to cast a spell, she does not always have to do so, as shown with her portal creation spell.[1]
Gwen can detect someone's manna signature as a form of dowsing, as shown when she detected Maltruant's presence in Plumber Headquarters.[5]
Equipment[]

Charms of Bezel
Gwendolyn owns the Charms of Bezel, allowing her to use the abilities of each one and also granting her the power of flight.[1]

- Gwendolyn's custom belt is her tribute to her days as Lucky Girl.[pop-up 5][1]
- Gwendolyn was designed by Thomas N. Perkins IV.[TNP 1]

Notes[]
- ↑ Ben 10,000 and Kai were stated to have a daughter, named Gwendolyn,[pop-up 1][1][pop-up 2][2] who never appeared on-screen. When asked if Gwendolyn still existed in the Original Future Timeline as of Omniverse, Derrick J. Wyatt initially said she did not,[DJW 2] stating that he hated that she was named after Ben's cousin Gwen and decided to ignore her existence.[DJW 3] When made aware that Gwendolyn's existence was revealed via pop-up trivia years later, Derrick admitted that he did not know she existed, and was probably confused by the earlier question. He also explained that the reason she was never used in Omniverse is because the crew, who had studied the Original Series episodes for research, did not have access to the pop-ups. Therefore, they were not aware that Ben 10,000 had a daughter.[DJW 4]
