Cosmic Mom[credits 1][1] is an interdimensional alien who inhabits a higher plane of existence.
Appearance[]
Cosmic Mom is a tall, thin, semi-humanoid being made of bright-white light who appears to have an aura of fiery blue flames around her. Her body is pure white outside of a pattern of blue lines on her torso.

In Busy Box, when Ben, Gwen, and Kevin were going to destroy the Naljian Destructor, Cosmic Mom appeared and explained that it was nothing more than her daughter's toy. She rebuilt the Destructor and left.
Powers and Abilities[]
Cosmic Mom can teleport across dimensions in a flash of light.
Cosmic Mom can use telekinesis, as shown when she levitated and reformed a Naljian Destructor with hand gestures alone.
Cosmic Mom can see in more than three dimensions as she stated that there were "only 26 [dimensions] that matter".
Cosmic Mom has a tremendously long lifespan spanning many millions of years; her daughter is considered a young child at more than 3 million years of age.

- Cosmic Mom said there are "only 26 [dimensions] that matter", indicating that there are more. This is a reference to the real-life Bosonic String Theory which predicts 26 dimensions.
- There were no plans to feature any other members of Cosmic Mom's species after Busy Box.[DM 2]

However, the name of her species was not mentioned in Busy Box or its script or outline.[outline 1][script 1] Furthermore, Dwayne McDuffie was not aware of what the term "Naljian" referred to.[DM 1] The title of the page remained as "Naljian" until January 3, 2024. During that time, in 2018, Man of Action referred to Cosmic Mom's species as Naljian, unaware of the term's origin.[MoA 1] The name "Naljian" was taken from the Naljian Destructor, a toy belonging to the mom's child. It is unknown whether the technology is actually named after Cosmic Mom's species or something else completely.[BTP 1]
