Dr. Cornelius Hartfield is a character who appeared in Them's Fightin' Words!.
Appearance[]
Cornelius is a gray-bearded man. He wears glasses, a green cap, blue jeans, brown shoes, and a white button-up shirt. He has a brown coat with a pin depicted corn, and a bowtie similarly resembling corn kernels.
Personality[]
Cornelius is a typically friendly individual who happily expounds information about corn to others.
History[]

Cornelius first appeared in Them's Fightin' Words!, where he explained to Team Tennyson the importance of corn to his town. He then began arguing with Cornflower McJoy, both insisting that the Corn Flute belonged to the Hartfields and the McJoys respectively.
Hex later found the corn flute in a shed, and used it to control the deceased members of both families from the afterlife. Ben as Rath encouraged both families to join forces to defeat Hex, which weakened the ghosts. After Gwen found out that the flute was a gift from the Hartfields to Molly McJoy. Realizing their mistakes, both Cornelius and Cornflower apologized to each other, deciding to share the corn flute. Once Hex retreated, Cornelius coached Max on cooking corn.
