Sergeant Cookmeister is second-in-command of the Perk Gourmands.
Appearance[]
Sergeant Cookmeister is a Perk Gourmand. He has a dark green goatee, and wears a medal which resembles a cookie on the right half of his chest. He is slightly taller and thinner than an average Gourmand, and his yellow pupils are rather small. He occasionally makes sputtering noises when he speaks.
History[]
Omniverse[]
Sergeants Cookmeister and Cast Iron both contact Ben Tennyson because their planet is about to be invaded by the Incurseans. They call him at the same time, unaware of each other's actions. Ben receives the call while in his Upchuck form. Once he transforms back, he tells Rook that they need to head to planet Gourmand right away — something urgent is about to happen.
A group of Perks and a group of Murks are already engaging the Incurseans in battle. Meanwhile, Cast Iron and Cookmeister are arguing over what to do next. The Murks (led by Cast Iron, who was once Cookmeister's "friend") believe that they should head to the Incursean Dreadnought, where the Gourmand Queen is being held, rescue her, and then activate Plan Omega. The Perks (led by Cookmeister) believe the opposite: they should remain on the planet to protect it and, if needed, activate Plan Omega even without the Queen’s approval. A Gourmand Murk named Private Brown Bag guides Ben and Rook to the debate. When they arrive, they find the Perks and Murks already in a heated fight, each side defending its position. Ben (in both Upchuck forms) listens to both arguments and chooses to side with Cast Iron. Rook sides with Cookmeister, joining the Perks to help protect the planet. Immediately, Rook and Cookmeister know their mission: defend the planet at all costs. Ben and Cast Iron leave, unaware of what Rook and Cookmeister are planning.
The Incurseans begin their assault, aiming to conquer the planet and wipe out its inhabitants. All the Perks unite to launch a counterattack, successfully stopping the Incurseans from advancing too far. The Murks are off-world at this point, so they don’t appear in the final battle. Rook and Cookmeister declare victory — but a devastating weapon appears: the Incursean Battle Wheel. Rook tries to destroy it, but Voratia Rumbletum falls from the Proto-Truck, forcing him to save her. Shortly after, the Battle Wheel explodes. A group of Perks and Murks manage to rescue the Queen from a dangerous fall. Cookmeister begins arguing with Cast Iron, and both prepare to fight each other — but the Queen intervenes, calls for peace, and orders the execution of Plan Omega. The Gourmands begin consuming the planet. In the end, Cookmeister, Cast Iron, the Perks, the Murks, and the Queen evacuate Peptos XI, as it has now been completely devoured.
Powers and Abilities[]
Sergeant Cookmeister possesses all of the abilities of a Gourmand, having the means to eat solid matter and digest it almost instantaneously, as well as to regurgitate it in a highly explosive form. He is very durable, and can also fly through space by propulsion from his mouth.
