Collectible Heroes is the fifteenth Ben 10: Alien Force comic published in the Cartoon Network Action Pack series, published by DC and Cartoon Network. This story appears in issue 46 of the series.
Plot[]
Ben, after selling a Sumo Slammers action figure set to Mr. Owens at a cosplay convention, bumps into into a robot which teleports him away. In the mechanical room he's transported to, a giant screen turns on and the alien on it introduces himself as the Collector, and tells Ben that he collects real-life heroes and activates a mechanism that makes walls and a ceiling close-in on him. Ben transforms into Humungousaur and easily destroys it, only for the machine to adapt to his form and become reinforced. Ben switches into Brainstorm, but the room adapts once again and becomes rubbery.
Ben gets the idea to quickly switch between forms, causing the trap to overload and explode. He turns into Echo Echo and starts looking for the Collector, but upon finding him, the Collector accidentally freezes himself with his own freeze ray. Ben takes the frozen Collector to sell to Mr. Owens.
