Chronosapiens are a species of biomechanical lifeforms. They're robotic, metallic, and appear to be more machine-like than biological.

Appearance

Chronosapiens are large, round semi-humanoid aliens, made of yellow or black metal, and have a translucent window on their chest which displays their innards, which appear to be various gears. They have a round, short head with a semi-circular appendage on top.

When moving, Chronosapiens produce gear-like sounds.

History

At some point during the Time War, Maltruant caused the Chronosapiens to go rogue.[1][2][DJW 1]

Powers and Abilities

Chronosapiens can fire green time rays from their hands or chest, which have various effects such as sending people back in time,[3] aging an object/person to dust,[4] restoring individuals who have been erased from time, sending them into a different timeline,[5] and reverting them to a previous state while also immobilizing them.[6]

Chronosapiens are capable of time and dimensional travel and can display events that have happened in the past by rotating the keys on their heads which produces a light. This light covers the area and displays all objects and movements in the past as holographic images.

Chronosapiens can slow down time, which makes them look like to other beings that they are fast when they're actually really slow. They can also completely stop time.[DJW 2]

Chronosapiens can sense another Chronosapien's power usage or the use of a Chronosapien Time Bomb and can undo the effects of both.

Chronosapiens can use each other's head keys, but they won't have their true resonance.[DJW 3]

Chronosapiens possess chronopathy, which grants them a fine-tuned sense of precise time and determine the exact time an event has taken or will take place and for low long.

Chronosapiens have enhanced strength.

Chronosapiens can still function even if they lose some of their parts.[DJW 4]

Because they are robotic (rather than biological) in nature, Chronosapiens can survive in the vacuum of space.

Because they are technological beings, it is possible for a Galvanic Mechamorph to merge with Chronosapiens, thus making their time rays stronger and increasing their speed and stamina to superhuman levels. While in this state, Chronosapiens can jump extremely high, morph their hands into drills, and fire rockets out of shoulder-mounted launchers. They can also sense another Chronosapien head key.

Weaknesses

A Chronosapien's metallic body can be damaged by sufficient force, which can cause them to fall into a powered-down state in which the light on their torso and face goes off and they cease moving.

If something hits a Chronosapien's head key, they would be badly stunned.

Chronosapiens are slow runners and tire quickly because of their large bodies and short legs.

The use of a Chronosapien's powers creates a ripple effect that can be sensed and in some cases reversed by another Chronosapien.

Chronosapiens can be lifted and thrown by species with as much or more strength than a Tetramand.

A Chronosapien's time rays are ineffective against anything diamond-related such as Petrosapiens, due to them being incapable of aging.[3] Similarly, the time rays are ineffective on gumballs because time has no effect on them. Their time powers are also completely useless in a place where there is no time at all, such as the beginning of the universe.

There is a limit to how strong Chronosapiens are, as they are unable to penetrate through the Contumelia's machine's extra-dimensional field.

Being a mechanical-based being, Chronosapiens can be magnetized.[DJW 5]
