The Chroniton Particle is used as a power source for the Time Cycles, giving them immunity to time-based attacks and allows them to travel through time.
History[]
In Let's Do the Time War Again, Professor Paradox took out a Chroniton Particle from the Chrononavigator and gave it to Ben 10,000, who used it to build the Time Cycles. It's implied he has more than one, as he and Ben 10,000 needed to create a second pair of Time Cycles to close the time loop they were in.

Etymology[]
The Chroniton Particle is a reference to Chronitons from the Star Trek franchise. In the prefix, the root word "chron-" means time, while in the suffix, the general naming convention of ending with "-on" is followed.
