The Challenger is a villain who appeared in Nemesis.
Appearance[]
The Challenger is a man with slightly tanned skin and black hair. He appears to have dotted eyes, and wears a segmented domino mask with a yellow tint. His outfit consists of a spandex suit that is primarily light gray in color, with pale yellow arms, shoulders, and a belt. From the shoulders, a "C" shape hooks down. He otherwise wears identically-textured black boots and gloves, which are knee and elbow-length respectively. Strangely, he only has four fingers on each hand.
Personality[]
The Challenger is a clever villain, utilizing "flashy" crimes to attract superheroes he can in turn counter the abilities of.
History[]
Comics[]
In Nemesis, Team Tennyson encountered the Challenger robbing a bank, leading to Ben fighting him using XLR8. The Challenger easily defeated him, however, by expelling ice on the ground and making a getaway. He soon robbed a jewelry store, and was met by Four Arms. Like XLR8 before, though, he was outmatched, this time by the Challenger's set of eight arms. Once Four Arms timed out, he realized the Challenger's gimmick, and fought him in is human form alongside Gwen. The police soon showed up to arrest the defeated Challenger.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Challenger has the ability to perfectly counter nearly any person he comes into conflict with. For examples, he can create frozen trails to make XLR8 slip, or overpower Four Arms with eight arms.[AP 1]
Equipment[]
The Challenger wears a suit that can seemingly morph to match his own anatomy, such as sprouting an additional six sleeves to match his new sets of arms.[AP 1]
Weaknesses[]
The Challenger cannot combat anyone without any inherent powers, such as Ben whilst in his human form.[AP 1]
