Background[]
Castoon used to do nuclear testing. This caused the berries on the island to become mildly radioactive. When consumed by bats, the resulting waste is the rarest isotope in the world.[2]
Alien Force[]
In Grounded, while at the wharf, Gwen looked through the logs on the computer and found out that Bellwood was exporting something from Castoon through one of its freighters named the Eustacia Vye. Later, when she was grounded, she discovered that the freighter, which had been commandeered by a Highbreed, was carrying 50,000 tons of bat guano.
