Bottomless Ben is the one hundred and forty-seventh episode of Ben 10.

Synopsis

Ben and Kevin 11 challenge each other to find the bottom of a so-called bottomless pit.

Plot

At Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Ben, Gwen and Max admire a supposed bottomless pit. The local ranger, Randy, admits that they are unsure whether or not it really is bottomless, as no one has seen it. Ben is intrigued at what is down the hole, but Gwen advises him to not try to go down it. Ben imagines himself as Diamondhead jumping down the pit, and finding a legendary Sumo Slammers arcade machine. Gwen breaks him out of his fantasy, and he admits to Gwen and Max that they're right about staying safe. He and Gwen suddenly hear Kevin laughing, and he steps out of the shadows to bully Ben for chickening out.

Bashmouth fights Breaker One-Nine

Kevin points out Randy isn't looking encourages Ben to go down the pit. Ben refuses the dare, and in anger, Kevin transforms into Bashmouth. Expecting a fight, Ben transforms into Humungousaur. Gwen notices the two and leaves Max to stop them. Bashmouth and Humungousaur, however, are stopped by Randy, who reminds them that the cavern is fragile and susceptible to cave-ins. Suddenly, the roof caves in, revealing Breaker One-Nine riding L.I.Z.A., and waking Max up. He reveals he's been hired to help transform the caverns into a cave resort. He gets straight to work, ramming his vehicle into the walls of the cave. Bashmouth, against Humungousaur's better judgement, goes after Breaker, inadvertently causing more destruction. Breaker transforms L.I.Z.A. into its mecha form, and he quickly defeats the two. Using L.I.Z.A., he tosses them into the pit. A strange vision of an elderly man informs Humungousaur as he falls how quickly he could reach the other side of the Earth, to his confusion. He then makes a pained landing, followed by Bashmouth.

Crystalfist breaks the falling rocks

The two time out, disappointed in the pit not being truly bottomless. Kevin tries to feel his way out of the pit, but he just bonks his head. Above, Breaker continues to ravage the caverns. Randy admits to Max and Gwen that the pit isn't really bottomless, so they can save Ben. Back in the hole, Ben and Kevin argue about who got them stuck, when they hear an avalanche of rocks falling from the pit's entrance. The escape the debris, and Kevin transforms into Crystalfist to fight back. As more rocks travel down the shaft, he smashes them, but cracks his hand on a larger one. Ben proposes they work together, and promises to tell everyone it would've been Kevin's idea.

Omni-Kix Slapback plays with L.I.Z.A.'s remains

Outside the hole, Randy finds some rope help rescue them. Suddenly, Crystalfist, covered in Omni-Kix Slapbacks, emerges from the rubble, riding on his crystals. The Omni-Kix Slapbacks protect Crystalfist as more rocks rain down upon them. Breaker tries to ram into them, but L.I.Z.A. is launched into the air by one of Crystalfist's ramps. The Omni-Kix Slapbacks grab on to it, and climb inside the machine as it lands, with Breaker none the wiser. However, he quickly comes to find them clogging the vehicle, causing it to explode. Crystalfist disposes of L.I.Z.A.'s remains, and Omni-Kix Slapback reverts back to Ben. Ben tries to thank Kevin, only to find him missing. Randy takes Breaker to jail, and Team Tennyson decide to head to the spider cave, with Gwen warning Ben not to get any ideas.
