That was my general understanding because on some articles, while I was on this wiki back in 2014, the regular poses were changed for action poses. I may have been mistaken. It could have been done because of the reasons you mentioned. My bad. Its not like I am making anything up.
Oh, okay then. Also sorry if I offended you, that wasn't my intention. And thanks for the heads up on the date!
No no, I never felt offended. I just wanted to clarify my side, as to why I thought that was the rule. :)
Yeah, thing is though, action poses usually cover up/make certIain body not easy to see due to the angle, which is probably why the wiki prefers standing art work where we get to see them from the side compared to action poses. Plus, these images are color accurate to the show, unlike the action poses.

About the colour accuracy, well, there are some articles in the wiki which use images in their infobox that aren't fully colour accurate and/or have missing shadows etc. Plus, the images used currently aren't really dramatic. They are mostly standing with just a slight angle tilt.
Everyone noticed. The original post says "However, someone needs to clean up the cropping."
Which articles have images that doesn't have shadows? Those images do not suit articles at all, and misrepresent what they look like in the show.
As of now I remember Shocksquatch and Ben Tennyson (OS). But I think there were more.

It's a quite dramatic action pose but that's the best we have got.
7 days are over. The final score is:
The suggestion has ended in a tie. The administrators will now discuss it.
If it is decided, however, that the images should be replaced, it should only be done when the cropping is cleaned up, as per the basis of the suggestion.
