Well even if that's the case, de-aging isn't instantaneous. You could de-age Diagon a few centuries and he'd still have more than enough power to kill Maltruant.
Actually amortal means something that can't be killed because they were never technically alive. While immortal means alive but can't die, it doesn't neccessarily mean they have to have been "born".

He can stop time and de-age Diagon then. On the superpower wiki it stated that
"May be erased from history via the effects of time-manipulating powers, killing the immortals in question before they become immortal."

I have this question a seond thought and have come to conclusion that Maltruant wins as argued above. Time powers are one of the greatest powers. On the other hand, it depends whether the two beings will directly choose their extreme measures. If not, then, the one who will go first for it wins.
@Hmgasaurr, There are lots of beings with tine powers (Professor Paradox, clockwork, Eon), but they don't always win every fight.
@Superalexiy, unless you can find any evidence that says there was a time where Diagon wasn't immortal, otherwise you can't use that argument. What if Diagon was a force of nature that had sentience?
And I still say Diagon won't just stand there and let him get deaged. He can feel Maltruant's presence before Maltruant has even noticed Diagon, then take over his mind and have him under his control.

If he cannot control anodites, he most certainley cannot control a chronosapien. The evidence was shown in the last episode wasn't it? When Ben created the universe was there a diagon floting around in it? No, so one can assume that he had to be born(in one way or another) to have exsisted in that universe. So one can assume there was a time before diagon became immortal or atleast before he exsisted and if you revert him back to that time he will cease to exsist. It's simple logic man.
Didn't he control Gwen until Kevin gave her that helmet?
With these omnipotent beings, they can exist outside the normal realms of reality, possibly outside of time itself. And Diagon not appearing could just be the writers forgot about him.

Diagon isn't omnipotent. Gwen wasn't in her anodite form either way.
Diagon made her change into her anodite form.
He's still arguably a reality warper. His heart alone can reshape the universe, or something like that.

Again grandmother introduced her anodise so she changed to anodise not by diagon
Sorry, what?
