This Ben Tennyson is a "what if" version of Ben Tennyson.
Appearance[]
His appearance is the same as his canon counterpart at the age of 10, except he does not have the Omnitrix.
Personality[]
Ben's personality is identical to his canon counterpart in the Original Series. He is cocky, rebellious, fun-loving, and has a good heart. However, Ben is shown to be prone to jealousy over Gwen's acquisition of the Omnitrix. Ben also displays underlying maturity through his "mentoring" of Gwen and is even disappointed in Gwen's irresponsible usage of the watch.
History[]
Ben 10[]
In the episode Gwen 10, Ben, for some reason, had the memories of Ben Prime. Believing he still had the Omnitrix, he tried to stop some robbers at a gas station. However, Ben discovered that he no longer possessed the Omnitrix and was defenseless against the robbers, but fortunately, Max managed to defeat them.
While in the Rustbucket with Gwen and Max, Ben tried to tell them everything that had happened earlier in the summer, including obtaining the Omnitrix and fighting Vilgax, which alarmed Max, but Gwen continued to not believe him.
When they arrived at the campsite, Ben rushed to the Omnitrix's crash site, but was shocked when he discovered that Gwen had received it instead of him. Ben soon became upset when he realized that Gwen was better at wielding the Omnitrix than him, as she was able to write her name in the sky as Heatblast (which had taken Ben a month to learn to do) and defeat the Mechadroid as Diamondhead more easily than Ben was able to. The next morning, Gwen was captured by Vilgax after she went bowling with Ben, so Ben and Max set out to rescue her. On Vilgax's ship, an energy surge caused the Omnitrix to leave Gwen and latch onto Max's wrist instead.
Using Upgrade, Max was able to defeat Vilgax and escape the ship with Ben and Gwen by merging with the Rustbucket.
