Ben 10 Wiki

Here at the Ben 10 Planet, we try to guarantee a safe, friendly, and productive editing environment. We ask the users of Ben 10 Planet to follow this policy.

Respect other users

No user deserves to be treated with disrespect, regardless of the situation or the user's gender, sexuality or religious beliefs. If you have a disagreement do not try to solve the issue with verbal insults or by using profanity. Things said on the internet can hurt someone in real life. Think before you act. If you are harassing another user you will be blocked for a certain amount of time (determined by previous offences).

Inviting conflict

Users are not to create "hate lists" (whether for other users to sign stating their disdain for said user or for the user in question to list the users they dislike). They are also not to make polls that gauge their "popularity" (or lack thereof) or polls which are to decide whether their fellow editors wish for them to leave or not. In short, while users are free to use their userpages as they choose, their userpages should not be used to create unnecessary conflicts within the community.

Solving user conflicts

All user conflicts should be solved peacefully. It is better to come to a compromise than to keep arguing. If you cannot compromise then simply stop talking to that user until you can come up with a solution. If you feel that a user has made a personal attack on you, you may report it to an administrator and an they will take appropriate action.

Edit and Revert wars

While the wiki does not get edit wars often, we ask that you follow our simple concept: stop editing and find a compromise. If all else fails, notify an administrator.

Blocking

If you feel you have been unjustly banned, simply state your case on your message wall and let the administrators determine your situation. If you have been unfairly blocked, you may be unblocked. If you swear and curse at a user on your message wall, the block will stay in place, or it may be extended to a longer period of time.

Other things to consider

Your actions and statements can be harmful to others. In some countries criminal charges may be pressed for certain threats. Read more here.
