Generally, it is clear what a page should be named. However, there are cases where it becomes ambiguous. If you are unsure on what to title a page, you may ask an admin for a second opinion.
- For characters pages, the decreasing order of preference for possible page titles is as follows:
- Proper name of the character: To be used if it is known and regularly used by the character, or it can be reasonably assumed that it is regularly used by the character. Full names aren't necessary. The most generally used name is sufficient (e.g. Ben Tennyson).
- Titles: Official names regularly used by the character in lieu of their proper given name (e.g. Eon or Charmcaster).
- Descriptive names used in end credits (e.g. Cosmic Mom).
- Descriptive names used in production material.
- Nicknames given and used by the show's crew.
- Descriptive (i.e. conjectural) names made up by the Wiki (e.g. Anur-Mirrored Ben)
Additionally, the titles of a character page should not include that characters' rank or title (for example; "Magister", "Major", "Professor"). The only exceptions are if a character goes by "Dr.", or if the character goes by a hero or villain identiy name, for example Professor Paradox or Sergeant Smythe.
If a human character only has their surname known, the title of the page must include "Mr.", "Mrs.", "Ms.", etc.
