– Baz-L, explaining why he collects treasures.[1] |
Baz-L[script 1] (alternatively spelled as Baz-el[credits 1][2] or Baz-l)[DM 1][credits 2][1] is a Galvanic Mechamorph.
Appearance[]
Baz-L is a green and black Galvanic Mechamorph, with stripes all around his body. His stripes share the green and black stripes, counteracting their respective colors. He is naked.[DM 2]
Personality[]
In his first appearance, Baz-L was fond with Ben and Julie helping him fix his ship and let them keep Ship.
Later, knowing that Ship was useful in the Highbreed invasion, Baz-L wanted Ship and planned to sell him to the highest bidder. This showed that Baz-L is selfish and greedy, not caring about what's best for Ship.
He is also shown to be rude, insulting the Highbreed even though one was present in the court, in Don't Fear the Repo.
History[]
Alien Force[]
Baz-L first appeared in Pier Pressure, where he crashed and spawned a symbiote named Ship to find help. Ship managed to follow a signal from the Omnitrix and tried to get Ben's attention. He destroyed most of the pier and kidnapped Julie, only to be followed by Jetray. Ship then revealed that Baz-L was trapped in his ship while it was in self-destruct mode. He was saved by Humungousaur and revealed Ship's reason for kidnapping Julie and bringing her to him: he wanted help from a Plumber. Before he left, he allowed Ship to stay with Ben and Julie.
In Don't Fear the Repo, Baz-L hired the Vreedle Brothers to retrieve Ship, wanting to capitalize on Ship's role in the defeat of the Highbreed. He appeared in court where he lost the trial on who kept Ship. He traveled with Ben back to Earth in order to call off the Vreedles, but was blasted and seemingly destroyed when Rhomboid Vreedle became enraged at hearing he wasn't going to pay them. Baz-L regenerated himself after the Vreedles left, stating that he wasn't going to do so while they were still around.
Ultimate Alien[]
In Eye of the Beholder, Ship was called to another planet in an effort to rescue him. Baz-L revealed that he has a job scanning the atmosphere of various planets and makes money on the side by stealing artifacts from the planets he visits which is how he earned the scorn of the inhabitants of the planet. He also revealed that, despite Ship being his son, he would sell him on the black market like the artifacts he stole and proved himself to be very selfish.
Powers and Abilities[]
Being a Galvanic Mechamorph, Baz-L has the same powers and abilities as his species.
Weaknesses[]
He has the same weaknesses as any Galvanic Mechamorph.
