Bad Boy is the second Ben 10: Alien Force comic published in the Cartoon Network Action Pack series, published by DC and Cartoon Network. This story appeared in issue 28 of the series.
Plot[]
The story opens with Kevin involved in a deal with the DNAliens. Disguised as Ben Tennyson, dressed in the hero's signature jacket, as well as with his Plumber badge taped around his wrist to appear like the Omnitrix, Kevin is dealing alien technology in exchange of money. As Kevin walks away from the deal, he's met face to face with Gwen, who assumes that Kevin has betrayed them.
Trying to keep up the ruse in front of the DNAliens, Kevin plays dumb with his "cousin", fleeing in his car as soon as Gwen gets distracted fighting the aliens using her manna, knowing she'll be able to take care of herself.
The next day, as Gwen's explaining this to Ben himself, she's shocked to see that Ben's happy about it. Meanwhile Kevin, still in disguise, is being led into one of the Highbreed's bases. Before Ben can properly explain, he gets a signal from Kevin, communicating that their plan has gone awry. Seeing this, Ben leaps into action as Spidermonkey, with him and Gwen arriving shortly to give Kevin, who's now surrounded by DNAliens, some much needed backup. Ironically, as the cousins rush to save him, Ben explains that they kept the plan a secret since Kevin didn't want Gwen in harm's way if anything went wrong.
The three converge just as a Highbreed is about to steal what he thinks is the Omnitrix from Kevin. Transforming into Goop, it's revealed to Ben that the Highbreed knew about the duo's plan to get Grandpa Max's technology back from the alien's possession.
Gwen joins the fight, allowing Kevin to snatch the technology and pass it to Ben. The tech is activated, ending the fight, seemingly nauseating all aliens in its vicinity, as well as destroying the weather tower.
As the trio escape from the collapsing tower, the couple of Gwen and Kevin reflect on how his "bad boy" days are over for good.

- In the edition printed in the Ben 10 Alien Force: 2010 Annual, Max makes a cameo, hidden behind a window as Spidermonkey swings by with Gwen.
