Arburian Pelarotas, sometimes shortened as Pelarotas,[1] are a species from the peaceful planet Arburia.
Appearance[]
Arburian Pelarotas are white, bulky aliens with stubby arms and legs. They have yellow, shell-like plating on their back, wrists, legs, and shoulders. Arburian Pelarotas are covered in fur across the thickest parts of their body, while every other part except for their elbows and knees is short fur.[DR 1]
Infant Arburian Pelarotas lack shells, as they don't develop until they are child aged.
Arburian Pelarotas have squinted eyes and a wide mouth. They also have black stripes above and sometimes below their face, plus they have black surrounding their armor.
Adults have the same appearance as children, only with sharper claws and small lines near their fingers. One even has facial hair and a business suit.
Behavior[]
Adults are dedicated to the education and safety of the young, who would rather play outside than focus on their studies, meaning when school's over, in a flash, they're at the beach.
Technology[]
Pelarotas get around in Gyrosphere-like cars and have massive turrets used in lifeguarding. They also have special boats for water fun. They have space ships shaped like their boats which are used to travel to different planets like when they visited Kinet.
Powers and Abilities[]
Arburian Pelarotas can curl into balls, encasing themselves in armored plating. When rolled up, they are like a motorized wheel that can move at great speed and can increase their rotational momentum to slam into and/or run over enemies.
In their sphere form, Arburian Pelarotas can also ricochet and bounce off surfaces in this form. They can even increase their agility by quickly opening up their ball shape while airborne. In this form, they are invulnerable and are capable of deflecting lasers.[merch 1][2][3]
Arburian Pelarotas are able to maneuver around their surroundings in ball form thanks to the short fur on their body, registering shifts in air and motion around them. Between that and their excellent hearing, Arburian Pelarotas receive something akin to echolocation - giving them "eyeless" vision.[DR 2]
Arburian Pelarotas possess enhanced strength, being able to fight on-par with Fulmini.[4]
An Arburian Pelarota's reflexes are at a level comparable to Kinecelerans, as shown when Cannonbolt caught Rush by his fists before the latter could punch him.[5]
Despite their top heavy bodies, Arburian Pelarotas have enhanced balance, allowing them to quickly change in and out of sphere form to suit his immediate needs.
Arburian Pelarotas have enhanced dexterity, as shown when Cannonbolt held Rex while preventing Bobo from breaking his grip.[6]
An Arburian Pelarota's shell is rather durable, being able to deflect lasers. It also makes them resistant to acids and lava.
An Arburian Pelarota's stomach is big enough for them to eat big portions of food.[7]
When angry, an Arburian Pelarota's scream can be very loud and can be heard from a distance.[6]
Weaknesses[]
Arburian Pelarotas are subjected to the physical laws of reflection and conservation of momentum, meaning that he has difficulty stopping or controlling his direction if he picks up speed.
An Arburian Pelarota's bipedal form is top-heavy, making them very unbalanced and clumsy, though they can still manage to use their curled shape to enhance their agility.
Arburian Pelarotas can be held in place by a species with as much strength as a Chimera Sui Generis.[8] Similarly, they are unable to roll if they are constrained by beings with as much strength as King Koil.[9]
Arburian Pelarotas cannot roll on sand or slippery surfaces.[10][11]
Arburian Pelarotas can be affected by Nanny Nightmare's Baby Powder, as demonstrated with Wreckingbolt.[5]
Arburian Pelarotas can be too heavy to stand on certain things that are unstable, such as a diving board.[12]
