Appoplexians are a tiger-like species from the planet Appoplexia.
Appearance
Appoplexians are about nine feet tall. They resemble muscular bipedal tailless tigers with scruffy fur and one black claw coming out of each wrist. They have green eyes and black stripes on shoulders, head and upper body. They have white or cream on the jaw, neck, chest, stomach, hands and feet and half-white/cream eyebrows. Their fur is either orange, maroon, or brown, and each individual has their own unique pattern of stripes.

Eytmology
The name Appoplexian is a play on the term "apoplexy" (or "apoplectic"), which is a word to describe the state of being overcome with rage.
